Richard Kieh, political activist and a resident of Montserrado County District-7, has said amidst the Liberian Government’s efforts to rid the Country of narcotic drugs and illicit substances, a member of the Legislature, Representative Emmanuel Dahn, of the same District-7, is harboring a notorious drug dealer in his office.
“Rep. Dahn himself knows that the guy is a drug dealer,” Kieh said when asked whether he was aware of the gravity of his allegation.
Pressed to name the alleged drug dealer in the Lawmaker’s office, Kieh said he will name the person if President Boakai, who has asked all citizens to name and shame drug dealers, gives him protection under the whistle blower act.
“If I am protected under the ‘whistle blower’ Act and Representative Dahn is asked to lineup his office staff, I will point out the person”, Richard Kieh said.
Kieh during the weekend was seen with a placard with the inscription: ‘Representative Emmanuel Dahn, please take the drug dealer from your office.’
In an apparent reaction to Mr. Kieh, the Montserrado District-7 Lawmaker said he has, on many occasions, assisted Mr. Kieh financially, but Kieh has turned against him because he at one point told him that the ground was not level or he did not have money on him at the time, Kieh has turned his worst enemy.
Kieh has also responded, challenging the Lawmaker to address his allegation and not deviate. “My concern here is, there is a drug dealer in his office and not about whether he assists me financially or not”, Mr. Kieh added.
