-Bishop Simpson Challenges Pastor Michael
The Diocesan Bishop of the 35th Episcopal District of Liberia, West African Council 35th Episcopal District Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) Inc., Bishop Dr. Leo M. Simpson, has called on newly ordained pastor of the Bethlehem Temple Church, Prince Michael, to remain steadfast as an ordained pastor.
The Church is located in the Banjor Community in Virginia. He said the pastoral work is one of the most critical challenges in ministry.
The PAW Diocesan Bishop also challenged Minister Michael to be a selfless leader and also be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord his labor is not in vain.
Bishop Simpson made the remarks on Sunday September 27, 2026, during Pastor Michael’s ordination.
Bishop Simpson further urged Pastor Michael to be fully committed to the thigs of God and the wellbeing of others in the faith, adding that he should patiently endure in his new vocation to which God has called him.
For his part, newly ordained pastor, Michael lauded the family of the 35th Episcopal District of Liberia West African Council 35th Episcopal District Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, for his preferment and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him to the best of his ability.
According to him, he will do all within his power to be strong in the Lord and endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ and give himself wholly to the Word of God.
Pastor Michael said he will present himself to God a worker, who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
“I will give myself to prayer and fasting, seeking to keep myself free from the domination of the flesh and the distracting influence of the world” he said.
