-Rep. Kolubah Says Finda Bundoo Dumps Her
This Paper has heard that former Vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor, has been scrapped of all her immunities as she becomes embroiled in multiple criminal charges, including unlicensed importation of illicit substances and money laundering. This information has not been independently verified.
The unconfirmed reports say the State on Wednesday withdrew her assigned EPS security detail with immediate effect.
Madam Taylor was on early Wednesday morning stopped from boarding a flight to Accra, Ghana, by officers of the Liberia National Police, who informed her that she was invited to the National Police Headquarters as person of interest relative to an ongoing high profile drug case.
She was subsequently arrested, charged and has since been at the Police Headquarters where she spent the night on Wednesday.
News of her summoning by the Police was confirmed by Information Minister, Jerolinmek Matthew Piah, sparking public debate and concerns amongst citizens across the Country.
The former Vice President was travelling to Ghana to attend a women forum when her trip was abruptly aborted.
“They told me I was not permitted to leave the Country and was directed to reoirt to the Police headquarters,” Madam Taylor told reporters.
In a latest development, Montserrado County District-10 Representative, Yekeh Kolubah, has disclosed that it is former President Gerorge Weah’s former Chief of Protocol, Finda Bundoo, that exposed the former Vice President. Yekeh has further alleged that because Miss Bundoo and former President Weah are not in terms on some money matter, she may give additional information to the current government or the Police.
We will bring you the details as they unfold.
