-Auxiliary Group Endorses McGill, Koijee

As the mighty Congress for Democratic Change prepares for its upcoming National Convention, the Movement for Digging Deeper, says it recognizes the importance of leadership, institutional stability, and organizational preparedness as the party looks toward to the 2029 General and Presidential Elections.

MDD in a statement says after a careful consideration of the party's institutional needs and  political demands ahead, it has formally endorsed Senator Nathaniel F. McGill for National Chairman and Mr. Jefferson T. Koijee for National Secretary-General of the Party.

“Our endorsement reflects an assessment of their respective leadership experiences, institutional involvement, political organization, and contributions to the CDC,” Movement for Digging Deeper or MDD said.

MDD says it has observed that one of the major organizational challenges ahead is the strengthening of relationship between the party's grassroots base and broader political alliances.

The MDD said the achievement of the goal requires institutional experience, political engagement, coalition-building, and effective internal coordination.

Senator Nathaniel F. McGill's administrative and political experience, the MDD said, is relevant to these responsibilities, particularly in strengthening party structures, facilitating internal reconciliation, and sustaining relationships with political stakeholders.

Equally important, according to the group, is the need for effective party administration, grassroots engagement, and organizational coordination.

Mr. Koijee's experience in party organization, youth engagement, and grassroots political activities, the MDD says, speaks to the responsibilities associated with the office of the National Secretary-General.

The Movement says it recognizes that the CDC is blessed with distinguished men and women, who it believes, possess the capacity to provide excellent leadership.

It also noted that the journey toward 2029 demands more than leadership alone, but also requires institutional experience, strategic coordination, organizational discipline, and a clear understanding of the demands of electoral politics.

MDD emphasized that its endorsement, therefore, reflects a leadership proposition that recognizes the importance of both institutional coordination and grassroots organization in strengthening the CDC's political and organizational foundations.

The statement urges all partisans, delegates, and well-wishers of the CDC to rally behind this strategic ticket. “Let us unite to reclaim our nation’s future”, the Movement for Digging Deeper, MDD.

The Movement said the formal endorsement represents its position on the leadership choices before the party as it looks toward 2029.
