-LOSES JOB, REMOVES ON US CONFERENCE

The former LDEA Boss Fitzgerald Biago was scheduled travel on Sunday, August 16, 2026, to attend the 40th International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) which takes place from August 18–20, 2026, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. But his name has been removed from the list of participants by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (U.S. DEA). The newly appointed Deputy Director for Operations Precious Rue will now represent Liberia alone.

Biago was scheduled to leave Liberia on Sunday, August 16, for the conference, which runs from August 18–20 and brings together senior drug enforcement officials from around the world.

His reported removal comes as questions continue to surround a gray Toyota pickup bearing license plate A532084, which has been repeatedly linked to Biago in photographs reviewed by Verity News.

The vehicle is allegedly also been associated with businessman George Wha Harris, popularly known as Leroy Harris, who has been charged and forwarded to court over several alleged drug-related offenses.

Photographs show Biago standing in front of the pickup on separate occasions. Other images of the same vehicle have appeared on social media accounts belonging to individuals allegedly associated with the LDEA.

Among those accounts are pages linked to Administrative Assistant Henry Seh, Personal Assistant Joletha Joe and Special Assistant Emmanuel Biago. Some of the posts were later removed, while similar photographs remain available on the LDEA’s official social media platforms.

The vehicle’s alleged connection to the former LDEA chief has raised questions about who owned it, who had authority over it and why it was being used around the agency.

The LDEA previously rejected claims that Biago received the vehicle.

In an earlier response, the agency said Biago “neither received nor accepted the vehicle described in the allegation and did not authorize anyone to receive it on his behalf.”

Biago has also reportedly told some journalists that he does not have a vehicle bearing license plate A532084.
