The cause of the fire remains undetermined up to press time, but some residents told the Liberian Investigator that it was likely caused by an electrical shock.

I jumped from sleep only to discover that my bakery and other surrounding houses were already on fire,” Barry told the Liberian Investigator in an interview.

Barry expressed appreciation to the Liberia National Fire Service and community residents for their timely intervention in responding to the emergency.

He praised the firefighters and community dwellers for their swift response, which he said helped to address the situation as the blaze spread through the area.

No casualties were reported as of the time of publication.
