Deputy Minister of Information Daniel O. Sando has launched a sharp verbal attack on former Finance Minister Samuel D. Tweah Jr., declaring that he has no reason to fear the former government official.

Speaking on Voice of Liberia, Sando described Tweah as a criminal defendant and used strong language to criticize him.

“I CAN’T FEAR A CRIMINAL DEFENDANT!”

Sando reportedly stated:

 “Samuel Tweah is a lousy talkative and a criminal defendant. I don’t fear him, and I can’t fear a criminal defendant.”

The remarks highlight the increasingly confrontational exchanges involving officials of the governing Unity Party administration and prominent figures from the former Coalition for Democratic Change government.
