Acting Grand Kru County Superintendent, Alphonso N. Teah, has threatened drastic legal action against those, who he said have received compensations, but have not relocated graves of their deceased relatives.

Of the sixty graves to be relocated, three have so far been relocated in Barclayville, although the Ministry of Public Works has already compensated the respective families for the relocation, acting Superintendent, Teah, said, adding that the situation has become an impediment for the speedy implementation of the 55.2km road pavement project in the County.

The prolonged delay, according to Teah, provoked his threat of a legal action against individuals, who are reneging to relocate the graves of their respective relatives, hampering progress on the Barclayville - Torpoh Bridge to Sassatown road corridor.

Teah warned that the county administration will not hesitate to take legal action to ensure the project proceeds as scheduled in the interest of people of of Grand Kru.
