WE COMMEND THE GOVERNMENT OF LIBERIA through the Director General of the General Service Agency (GSA) Hon. Galakpai W. Kortimai, for the massive renovation work been initiated to give the historic inaugural site a beautiful outlook.

AS THE AGENCY HAS TAKEN on the full project of the renovation of the historic Centennial pavilion with  more renovations on other historic buildings, we wish that government include the Unity CONFERENCE CENTER AND SOME villas for additional revenue sources.

THE PAVILION SINCE BUILT by  former President Williams V.S Tubman, has not been renovated holistically, but with the comprehensive recent overhaul launched by the GSA under the administration of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, the renovation exercise is a milestone in contemporary time.

SPEAKING TO SCORES OF JOURNALISTS during the regular press briefing at the Ministry of Information, Mr. Kortimai explained about   how far the renovation process is now. He started that over the years there has been partial renovation but now is complete renovation works.

HON. KORTIMAI, HOWEVER SAID that the cost of the renovation work is put at US$ 500,000.00   five hundred thousand dollars. The agency has completed 50% of the carpentry, 60% of the electrical aspect, 50% of the painting of the building and hopefully the building will be ready by November.

WE HOPE THAT THE FUNDS ALLOCATED for the renovation work will be applied so that money worth should be visible. 

IN ADDITION, HE STRESS that government license plates are not for vehicles that are not owned by government, and there will be fine or punishment given to those who disobey. Government plates are for government property not your personal property he started.  Hon. Kortimai further stated that government property should be protected.
