-French Delegation Expected
Liberia’s Diplomatic Mission in Paris, France, has, according to unconfirmed reports, concluded a plan, paving the way for French investors to visit Liberia.
The reports said the plan was concluded following rigorous engagements with the investors to come to Liberia in mid-June this year to explore the business climate here.
During their visit, the reports said, a three day French business forum will be held from Jun 21 to 23 and will bring together French investors and local officials to discuss French and Liberian business initiatives to boost the economy and provide job opportunities for Liberians.
The Liberian diplomatic mission quoted by the reports said it is willing to to continue engagements and negotiations in France to also attract both governmental and non-governmental Organizations.
"The pending international Business Forum will give birth to the signing of lots of MOUs and the establishment of private public partnerships between GOL and French Business institutions or between the French and Liberian business associations,” our sources said.
This Paper could not readily confirm the reports as efforts to contact Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah, did not yield the expected result.
