African Leaders Must Emulate China’s Legacy

One may wonder how China worked so zealously to overcome its economic challenges. 25 to 30 years ago, Chinese could barely feed her growing population. There were barriers that impeded the smooth living condition of the Chinese.  Here are some of the specific difficulties China faced in the global market around 2001 – 2002. In order to strengthen the economic imbalances, China developed a progressive recession plan targeting key areas that were undermining   progress such as deflation, State Own Enterprises Inefficiency, weak domestic demands, Labor market pressure, etc.

China tangled those barriers as a united force to undo the ugly past of hardship in an attempt to galvanize effort and celebrate the gains under a vision named “The Chinese Dream”. The purpose of this Dream is to achieving rejuvenation of successes through exhibition of the Chinese people value system which they have tried to instill into their citizens and citizens of other nations residing in China.

The road to rejuvenation under His Excellency President Xi Jinping of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is an idea published in the book called “The Government of China”, first edition.

He is considered the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao Zedong. Xi Jinping is the current President of the People's Republic of China, holding office since March 14, 2013. As the paramount leader, he also serves as General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Chairman of the Central Military Commission. In 2023, he began a historic third term, following the removal of presidential term limits.

In an effort to consolidate power, Xi Jinping has centralized authority, taking on numerous leadership positions and strengthening the CCP's role in society.

His tenure has focused on national security, strengthening the military, and a more assertive foreign policy, with "Xi Jinping Thought" incorporated into the constitution.

He has an admirable leadership style. He has overseen increased surveillance, anti-corruption campaigns.

In 2023, he became the first Chinese president to serve more than two terms. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held in November 2012, the new central leadership of Xi Jinping as Secretary General has led the whole party and the people of China in confronting the problems and challenges they face to drive reform and open up to a deeper level, to modernize the national governance system, and to marshal their enormous strength behind the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Under the leadership of the CPC, the country is striving to build a bright future for socialism with Chinese characteristics. China is attracting growing attention globally. The world wants to know what challenges are in progress in China, and what impact they will have on the rest of the world.

The Dream of the Chinese is a concept, a reform idea introduced by the current Chinese President, Xi Jinping from the experiences he had working as a partisan and later serving as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC). This concept was introduced to the people of China during the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The proponent of the Chinese Dream concept is about the past, present and the future of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and its people. It is a highly educational and inspiring concept driving innovation and progressive action in various areas of work. Xi Jinping made his citizens to understand the pains and suffering the Chinese people have encountered, but Chinese never relent.

Chinese have waged indomitable struggles and succeeded in becoming masters of their own dream and destiny. Imbued with the national spirit of patriotism, Chinese have launched a great cause of building their country. Today, Chinese nation is undergoing profound changes like sea becoming mulberry fields.

China is blessed with great leaders. One of such leaders who have demonstrated patriotism is Mao Zedong. He was a Chinese revolutionary, politician, writer, political theorist and the founder of the People's Republic of China. He led China from the PRC's establishment in October 1949 until his death in September 1976, primarily through his role as the Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party.

The question is, is there any good legacy we are copying after the Chinese? Are we only into diplomatic partnership with China for record sake? Chinese leaders have shown the love of country so they have demonstrated strong political will just to ensure the overcome difficult and life threatening situation.
